It had a payload of only 500 kg and a driver's seat that was open to the elements, but it was certainly the start of something significant, and they have come a long way today in creating some fabulous and versatile vans with some deep-rooted origins.
The Boxer created in 1994 to replace all other previous van variants is today Peugeot's’ biggest van with a maximum payload of up to 1,500 kg, meaning that there isn't anything it can’t do. The Partner, launched in 1996, has three seats in the front, offering greater serviceability as a van transporting people as well as goods.
In 2016 the Expert was launched and provided the perfect bridging gap between the three vans with its boxy design, robustness and its modernity. It even has a passenger seat that folds down and transforms into a mobile office desk. It is available in several versions; the van, platform cab, crew van and combi giving it up to 9 seats.
Fitted with the latest technology, such as AEB (Autonomous emergency braking), Adaptive cruise control, and driver fatigue monitor, these great vans are also available as Electric vans, meaning you can have these great vans and technology with quiet driving and zero carbon emissions.
